PC Repairs and Laptop Repairs
We do home visits and weekend and evening collections at no extra charge within a 3 mile radius.
Booking Form
When we receive your request, we will book your computer in to our database and allocate it a job number also known as a ticket number. We will call you within 24 hours of receiving your request to arrange your booking day. We print out a job sheet and leave it with you, so you have something to refer to if you need to contact us whilst your PC or Laptop is being attended by one of our team.
Offsite repair
After your computer has been assessed, we will call you to advise the results and recommendations of the complete diagnostics and give you a quote over the phone and an estimated completion time. Should you wish to proceed, we will send you the quote via email, to which you reply authorising the work. We will not carry out any work unless you give us authorisation.
Once the work is completed, we will contact you by phone and/or email to advise that your computer or laptop is ready for collection or home delivery.
Onsite repair
An engineer will visit onsite and make an initial assessment. If the repair is going to take longer than 1 hour to repair, then it will need to be taken back to the repair centre and processed as an offsite repair. Otherwise they will proceed to fix your computer. This service is cash on delivery, no cheques or credit cards will be accepted.
We operate a No Fix No Fee policy. This applies to both home repairs and offsite repairs.
Our background in fixing computers
We have been mending, fixing, repairing and upgrading computers since the late 90′s when the first Pentium’s came on the scene.
As gaming enthusiasts we were always looking for ways to improve the speed of computers, by tweaking the hardware and software for optimum performance and testing out the latest graphics cards. This led to us offering custom built gaming PC’s and multimedia PC’s for our customers, who also wanted more than the off the shelf range that their local High Street couldn’t offer. As well as having enthusiasm for gaming, there is also a keen interest in PC Multimedia, including audio and video, which is one of our specialisms.
Over the years we have developed our knowledgebase of PC problems and known computer issues, from Windows 95 through to Windows 7 for home users, sole traders and small businesses. In addition to the problems we’ve encountered we’ve also developed a vast array of knowledge on various systems, having installed many different makes and models of computers, laptops and wireless home routers, etc..
Computer Viruses
In our experience, the vast majority of our customers bring their PC’s to us as a result of a virus infection or serious spyware and malware system overload, mainly due to expired antivirus software. So if you haven’t checked your antivirus is up to date recently, we recommend you do so now. Keeping your antivirus up to date is very important, which is why we offer a FREE PC MOT service. We will tell you if your computer is bug free and will recommend a course of action if its not. If antivirus is needed we will offer you Panda AntiVirus Pro to keep you protected for 12 month period.
